Building on its industry leadership in available driver-assist technologies, Ford Motor Company is expanding its offerings with a range of next-generation features designed to ease parking hassles, improve collision avoidance, detect objects in the road and prevent wrong-way driving.
Ford and its joint ventures in China have set another record for company performance in August, as sales for the month totaled 96,450 vehicles, up 22 percent compared to August 2015.
Ford’s performance in China remains strong with year-to-date sales reaching 479,542, a five-percent increase compared to 2015. May sales totaled 88,248.
Ford is investing $145 million to upgrade the Cleveland Engine Plant, creating or retaining 150 jobs as part of the company’s commitment to 8,500 jobs and invest $9 billion in its facilities across the United States over the next four years.
Ford is nearing the 1 million mark for sales in China, selling 106,283 vehicles in November to bring the year-to-date total to 990,356. November performance was up nine percent compared to 2014.
